How The Laughter Lab, operated by Gelos Network Limited, uses personal information on this website.
Who we are
Gelos Network Limited (“Gelos”, company number 15714647) operates The Laughter Lab website. We are registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 30 Fore Street, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 5RP.
Contact form
If you use the Contact page, we collect the name, email address and message you send. That message is emailed to the Laughter Lab inbox using Resend so staff can reply. We do not use the Contact form to add you to a mailing list.
Mailing list
If you join the mailing list, TicketCove is the audience system. This website sends TicketCove your name, email address and the club or general updates you chose. Laughter Lab stores a TicketCove interest reference for each club, not a copy of the full subscriber list. You can use TicketCove’s unsubscribe or preference tools on messages you receive.
Campaign links and QR codes
Some posters, emails and posts use first-party Laughter Lab links such as /go/… Staff can see visit counts for those links. We do not use those visits to build a marketing profile of you, and we do not sell that data.
Admin staff
Staff who sign in to Admin have a login email and password stored by this website. That is only for running the site. Public visitors are not asked to create an account.
Processors we actually use
Hosting is on Vercel. Club and show records are stored in a Gelos Postgres database. Contact emails are sent with Resend. Mailing-list sign-up is posted to TicketCove. Club maps use OpenStreetMap tiles when the page loads. Open in Google Maps is an ordinary link to Google. Ticket purchases, if you follow a ticket link, are completed on TicketCove or another seller’s website — not on this site.
Retention and your rights
Contact messages are kept long enough for staff to reply and deal with the enquiry. Mailing preferences live in TicketCove. You can ask about the personal information Gelos holds, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing info@gelosnetwork.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
